After the hand over, make your way to the Namibian coastline where the popular town of Swakopmund is located.

Alte Brücke Holiday Resort is a great base from which to explore Swakopmund, and the nearby Walvis Bay, as well as the many activities and tours that can be enjoyed in the area.  They are situated 200m from the beach, in the older part of Swakopmund, 1.2 km from the centre of town as well as within easy walking distance from many popular restaurants, pubs, local shops and attractions. Day 4

Bid Swakopmund farewell as you travel further north along the coastline and into the famous Skeleton Coast with its shipwrecks and haunting views.

Literally metres from the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cross Lodge presents a unique and serene stop for travellers along this vast untamed and seldom explored wilderness on the Skeleton Coast.  The curious mix of Cape Dutch and West Coast fishing village architecture, nestles colossal windows which embrace the natural light and reveal endless vistas.

Around this idyllic oasis lies infinite ocean and desert, littered with the eerie remains of man’s past endeavours. Nearby, rocky outcrops provide a perfect playground for a large colony of Cape Fur Seals.

Spend 1 night at Cape Cross Hotel on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis

Day 5

Continue along the northern salt road of the Skeleton Coast Park before heading inland to the Kunene region of Namibia.  In the heat, dust and stunning landscapes that the area is known for, you will find Mowani Mountain Camp.  Dwarfed by massive ochre boulders, the camp is absorbed into the landscape, making it one with their shared history of life in this prehistoric land.  Every soft curve or ragged edge frames the landscape in a different way, as if you are seeing it for the first time, every time.  Rare, desert dwelling elephants, springbok, gemsbok and jackal roam these plains, while their images are found etched in the rocks at Twyfelfontein, Namibia’s first World Heritage Site.

Enjoy 1 night at Mowani Mountain Camp, Camping on a self-catering basis.

Day 6 & 7

Today you will depart to the famous Etosha National Park.

Etosha is known for its characteristic large salt pan that can even be seen from space.  Contrary to its dessert land scape, the Park has abundant wildlife that congregates around waterholes making for excellent game viewing.  Rugged roads fringe the vast salt flat of Etosha Pan, which becomes a breeding ground for flocks of flamingos in the wet season.

Okaukuejo is the oldest tourist camp in Etosha and to the Etosha Ecological Institute. It is situated at the western end of the Etosha Pan. The main attraction of this camp is a permanent waterhole which is floodlit at night. The spectacle starts at dawn, with animals coming in large numbers to quench their thirst. The activity continues throughout the day until late at night. In the early evenings, it is not uncommon to have black rhino, elephant, and lion all drinking at the same time.

Enjoy two nights at Okaukuejo, Camping on a self-catering basis.

Day 8 & 9

Continue exploring Etosha National Park as you make your way to the next rest camp, Halali Camp.

In an otherwise flat area Halali Camp is perched between a few hills and koppies. Thicker vegetation makes this popular with leopard, rhino and elephant. Situated halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo the Halali Rest Camp centrally located near some of the most popular waterholes of the Etosha National Park. A short walk will take you to the camp’s floodlit waterhole with excellent day and night game viewing.

‘Halali’ is the German word for the traditional ending of a hunt. The camp signifies the end of game hunting and the rise of eco-tourism in Namibia.

Enjoy two nights at Halali Camp, Camping on a self-catering basis.

Day 10 & 11

Today you will depart Etosha National Park and make your way to Fiume Bush Camp situated in the Grootfontein area.

The small camp, of only 8 comfortable safari tents, is located amongst sand dunes of the Kalahari Desert.  Discover more of the local Bushman / San community in the company of a local guide who has lived with the local tribes and understands the culture and language.  You will be shown their fire lighting skills, how to create bows and arrows, making traditional jewellery and enjoy dancing around the fire.  It is a great cultural experience and lovely way learning more of the native people of Namibia.

Spend 2 nights at Fiume Bush Camp on a Full Board basis with Bushman experience included.

Day 12

Leave the Bushmanland behind as you make your way back south to Windhoek.  Enjoy a last night in the capitol city in Vondelhof Guesthouse.  We recommend dinner at Joe’s Beer House.  This legendary, authentic Namibian restaurant is known for its old-fashioned hospitality, generous portions and cold beer.  It’s a great venue to enjoy your last dinner in Namibia as you reminisce about your holiday.
