    During season, daily scheduled 30 minute flights are available in to the Lower Zambezi. The aircraft lands at Jeki airstrip, guests then continue their journey by vehicle through the game park for approximately one and a half hours, or a 40 minute drive directly to camp.

  • Best time to travel

    Zambia predominantly has a wet (starting from November till April) and dry season (from around May to October) instead of summer and winter due to its sub tropical climate.  Most travelers prefer to visit towards the end of the wet season when the Falls are at their peak and the wildlife prolific.  During the dry season the Falls may dry up on the Zambian side and visitors will need to cross to the Zimbabwean for Fall viewing.

Lying on a floodplain that is a favourite with elephants, at the confluence of the Zambezi and Mushika Rivers is Anabezi Luxury Tented Camp. The Lower Zambezi National Park’s 5-star safari experience in a spectacular setting. Anabezi is one of the most luxurious lodges in the Zambezi National Park and located in the remotest area too. The lodge is beautifully designed to blend in (with its pristine surroundings) and gives a fabulous safari experience. If you are looking to spoil yourself at the end of a Zambian safari, then Anabezi is a great option with spacious luxury tents each with private plunge pools, a wide variety of activities available and some excellent guiding. Located at the site of the old Ana Tree Lodge, Anabezi camp has been built on the foundations of a historic camp which has stood the test of time. The lodge is beautifully designed to blend in and gives a fabulous safari experience.

Luxury Tents

Anabezi Camp comprises of 12 luxury spacious tents on raised timber platforms at the edge of a ridge providing magnificent views of both the Zambezi River and Mushika River flood plain.  The tents are generously spaced allowing the game to wonder around the camp freely. The large tents are well appointed and manage to be stylish without being too flash. If you are looking for high levels of luxury, excellent guiding and superb game viewing, then Anabezi makes a very good option.


Breakfast, lunch and dinner – all prepared by the magnificent chef; have your morning eggs while elephants splash in the river only few meters away. The pampering continues with an expansive high-tea in the afternoon (don’t miss out on the lemon meringue mini pies) and sundowners. Dinner is a three course plated affair served with some of South Africa’s finest wines.


The camp is well equipped with game viewing vehicles and boats allowing guests to ensure much comfort and cater for all individual needs. Guests will be guided by very knowledgeable and experienced guides. Up to two activities per day are included in the rate and comprises of game drives, night drives, walking safaris, canoeing safaris, boating and fishing on the Zambezi river, bird watching and day trips down the Mapata Gorge.
