The highlight of visiting Cora Lodge is a guided visit to the historical Ilha de Mozambique.  A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and former Portuguese capitol of Mozambique, is over 300 years old and rich with history of the country.  Or visit one of the local villages and gain an insight into the local Macua people, their traditions and daily life.  More adventurous activities on offer at the lodge include snorkeling, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and scuba diving.  The children can enjoy coral puddle exploration, snorkeling lessons, line fishing, mangrove canoe trips and more.

What we think of it

A highlight for lovers of culture, old architecture and history.  One of our personal favourites as the staff, location and atmosphere creates a special type of magic.
