    Where the Smoke Thunders

    banner

Zimbabwe offers dramatic landscapes, abundant wildlife and very little convoys of tourists as the country slowly regains its position on the safari circuit in Southern Africa. This in itself is a big draw card for true safari lovers who enjoy the uncrowded serenity of viewing wildlife in their natural habitat without a throng of vehicles jostling for position. Zimbabwe offers a variety of National Parks and Reserves for guests to visit, from the largest being Hwange National Park to Mana Pools and Gonarezhou National Park. However, the most popular destination remains the “smoke that thunders” or Victoria Falls. One of the seven wonders of the world, its twice the height of the Niagara Falls, and formed when the mighty Zambezi river falls over a 100 meters into the narrow Batoka gorge. The Victoria Falls is an adventure hub with white water river rafting, bungee jumping, bridge slide, helicopter and microlight flights and more. Contact Infinite Africa for more information.
