Ocean Front Deluxe Rooms

The sixteen Ocean Front Deluxe Rooms have stunning 180 degree sea views.  The rooms are en suite, with a front deck, private splash pool and sun loungers.  Additional facilities include a wrap around mosquito net curtain at the extra length king size bed, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning.  The bathroom has direct access to the deck as well as a freestanding bath, luxury guest amenities and rain shower.  A perfect option for romantics at heart!

 

Ocean View Chalets

The most spacious of the room options at Massinga Beach, twelve Ocean View Chalets feature an additional lounge with sleeper couches and separate toilet and shower to accommodate children sharing along with their parents.  The lounge and bedroom are connected with a large deck with beautiful 180 degree ocean views.  This room type is best suited to families or those wanting the luxury of a larger room.

 

Dining

Enjoy your meals in the main restaurant whilst overlooking the Indian Ocean.  All meals are carefully prepared to suit guests’ dietary requirements with the use of fresh local ingredients and flavours.

Activities

The lodge has a variety of activities on offer such as beach games, kayaking, message therapy, surfing and snorkeling or surf fishing at Fingers (located approximately 1.8 km along the beach from the lodge – transfers can be arranged).  The lodge’s remote location also makes it perfect for stargazing as there is very little air pollution.  The surf does not allow for boat launching in front of the lodge so sea safaris and scuba diving is arranged offsite.

What we think of it

Beautifully styled rooms with some of the best views in Mozambique.  Perfect for those not wanting a busy diving holiday but rather a peaceful retreat to relax and unwind in.
