    Generally good all year round with rain experienced from December to end March.  Property is closed annually from 10 January to the 10th of March.

Accommodation

Space and privacy are paramount at Sussurro.  Each of the six suites showcases a thousand square feet of personal space surrounded by nature.  Suites feature indoor and outdoor bathrooms and generous waterfront verandahs. Care has been taken to furnish the suites with locally crafted artisanal pieces from sub-saharan Africa.
 

Dining

The restaurant harvest table embraces Sussurro’s real-food philosophy. An open plan kitchen breaks the traditional divide between host and guest.  Drawing from traditional East African ways of living in their food ideology, Sussurro’s plant-rich menu includes indigenous superfoods such as baobab and moringa and their Organic food garden informs the menu seasonally.

Activities at Sussurro include SUP paddle boarding, Dhow sailing, Snorkeling, Dune hikes, Beach biking, Mangrove Reforestation, Village fishing experience (conservation, seasonal)
